Scholarships, Exhibitions and Bursaries

As indicated by the Charity Commission, all scholarships, exhibitions or other awards or bursaries should be made with parental financial circumstances in mind. Therefore, all scholarships to Moreton carry a nominal fee reduction of up to 10% in each scholarship category and maybe augmented to 100% of the fees subject to means-testing. Categories of publicly advertised scholarships and bursaries are as follows: Scholarships: Academic Music Sports Drama All-rounder awards Doreen Cameron Award for Art and Design Richard Allen Art Award Emily Higson Award (for all-rounder lower down the school) Bronwen Lloyd-Williams Sixth Form Awards Bursaries: Ursula Roberts Award (for those who live within a radius of approximately 20 miles of Moreton Hall) Sibling Bursaries Occupational awards to members of the Armed Services and teaching profession. Additionally, families who would, for financial reasons, not otherwise send their child to Moreton Hall should approach the Principal or Financial Controller directly. A Confidential Statement of Financial Circumstances must be completed and a form will be forwarded to you on request. |
