MORETON HALL campus is based around an Elizabethan hall set in 125 acres of parkland, which over the years has been the subject of an extensive building programme. There is a heated swimming pool (outdoors), Sports Hall with fitness suite, a floodlit all weather surface, floodlit tennis provision, a nine-hole golf course and a fully equipped ICT centre.
During school vacations, Moreton Hall can provide residential conference
facilities for up to 200 delegates. Accommodation can be provided in either
single and double en-suite bedrooms or a choice of dormitory accommodation all decorated to a high standard.
ACCOMMODATION
Charlesworth House.
Accommodation in Charlesworth house comprises of single or double rooms,
each with ensuite bathroom facilities and internet access. Each of the three
floors of Charlesworth House has a common room which contains full kitchen,
dining and lounge facilities and a satellite television. In the main foyer there is a computer suite.
Norton-Roberts House
This is a modern purpose built boarding house with spacious dormitories,
comfortable lounge areas, computer and games room.
Gem House
The house has been recently refurbished and provides smaller dormitories and study bedrooms with a comfortable lounge and kitchen facilities.
Pilkington House
Again this house has been recently refurbished and has small dormitories,
single and double rooms with the addition of two lounge areas with kitchen
facilities and a laundry room.
Lloyd-Williams House
This accommodation consists of individual study bedrooms spread over two
floors. There are two comfortable lounge areas and a laundry room.
All the houses have ample toilet and shower facilities.
Dining Room
Our spacious dining room caters for all dietary requirements and includes
Eastern and European cuisine.
Breakfast: full or continental
Lunch: set menu with salad and sandwich bar
Dinner: Three course set menu.
Nearby facilities
Hill-walking, pony trekking and mountain-biking all within easy reach.
Henlle Golf Club is just across the way - offering the full 18 hole course. Local
pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
Moreton Hall is situated midway between Shrewsbury and Chester with excellent road and rail links to the Midlands and the North of England.
