Welcome to Moreton Hall EFL Summer School. Situated in the historic county of Shropshire, we aim to give overseas students a unique summer school experience. The tranquil and safe countryside location, together with experienced and dedicated language teachers, offers you an altogether new venture in summer schools. Our English language school is aimed at students of 15 years of age and over. We also welcome accompanying parents. Courses range from beginners to advanced level and can be coupled with Business Administration and Information Technology tuition. We also offer an intensive 3 week IELTS course necessary for entrance to British and American universities. Class sizes are small, with no more than 12 in each class. Activities and entertainment are offered after teaching hours to ensure the complete summer school atmosphere. Courses range from 1 to 5 weeks in duration. |

Onsite activities include: football, netball, swimming, lacrosse, tennis, hockey, softball, orienteering, team games, croquet, cricket, archery, golf, drama, cookery, arts, and crafts. Offsite visits include: cinema and theatre trips, bowling, Laserquest, shopping, ice-skating, pony trekking, water sports, mountain biking, art galleries, and other places of cultural interest. We can also organise trips to universities, for example Oxford and Cambridge and day trips to London. |

Accommodation consists of 4 boarding houses to provide 280 beds within dormitories and 1-2 person bedrooms. There is a comfortable common room in each block. We have a spacious dining room, catering for all dietary requirements and including Eastern and European cuisine.
We believe not only in the importance of experiencing English in its native country but also in the quality of that experience. A beautiful rural setting, set apart from the hustle and bustle of the city yet with so many attractions near by, makes Moreton Hall an exclusive venue.
